What’s going on with Superstition? Recently, Syfy shifted the TV series to a different day and time.
The horror drama centers on the Hastings family of La Rochelle, Georgia. They happen to own the only funeral home and cemetery in town. Because of unexplained deaths due to demonic activity, the family also offers “afterlife care.” The cast includes Mario Van Peebles, W. Earl Brown, Demetria McKinney, Diamond Dallas Page, Robinne Lee, Brad James, Morgana Van Peebles, T.C. Carter, and Tatiana Lia Zappardino.
Instead of airing on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Syfy has moved Superstition out of primetime and the series will now air on Thursdays at 11 p.m. ET/PT. It’s unclear why the network has moved the show midway through season one, but low ratings could be a reason.
So far, Superstition is averaging a very low .09 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 364,000 viewers. The low numbers plus the move out of primetime could mean the Syfy series is headed toward cancellation, but nothing’s been announced as of now.

I began watching this show by accident, SyFy has changed a lot over the years, anyway, I really liked the series Superstition and have even re-watched every episode with my son who also got into it. He saw me watching and was like what is this, start it over. So you have two fans in my household who would be extremely willing to watch another series. In fact, I keep looking to see when it will start up again. Please bring it back thank you.

I have watched every episode and I’m hooked. This show definitely needs to return for season 2!!!!

I’d definitely would like to see a second season and more. I have a DVR so it really doesn’t matter when an episode aires. I like this program very much.

I love this show. Just started watching it this weekend and am now on episode 4. Like another person said, if SyFy keeps that stupid Winona Earp show and cancels Superstition, there is no hope for this network!
I really enjoy this. I like the storyline and take on things. I want it to keep going becos i have so many questions! I love this show.
I like this program good Lorder if they kept Winona Earp this is 300% better than that one. I also would like Syfy to pick up Constantine
Really this show sucks ! It’s the poor man’s “Supernatural”. It s made with such a low budget that scenes looks like amateur iphone ! And the story is badlywrutten , badly directed. No wonder the ratings are so low !
Disagree. While I love Supernatural, it had a rough start too….it was on the verge of being dropped several time by the network in its initial seasons. So glad the network kept gave it time and budget.
They need to keep this show on the air!! If SyFy would invest in some promotion for it maybe people would know it was on!! Thurs @ 11 is ridiculous. Maybe Netflix will pick it up and we can continie to enjoy it.
I agree. If Syfy can’t keep this show. Please put this show on Netflix. I started watching and I was surprised to truly have enjoyed this show. Needs more promoting as well as a chance to grow with the Audience. Netflix would be so much better. More shows are moving to Netflix. Prepare for the future. Television will soon be unpopular because of more online options of movies, shows etc to watch. People pay too much for boring cable . Do not cancel this show.
