What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Taken stars Clive Standen, Jennifer Beals, Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert, and Jose Pablo Cantillo. A prequel set thirty years prior to the Liam Neeson feature film trilogy, the Taken TV show follows the young, hungry, former Green Beret, Bryan Mills (Standen). After a personal tragedy upends his life, he embarks on a quest for vengeance. While working as a CIA operative, Mills hones his infamously lethal skill set. He works for Special Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Christina Hart (Beals), and alongside his OPCON teammates Dave (Cantillo), John (Charles), Becca Vlasik (Curnen), Scott (Michael Irby), and Rem (James Landry Hébert). Finally, there is attorney Asha Flyn (Sudano). Beautiful and motivated, she reconnects with Bryan at a critical point in their lives.

Telly’s Take
The series premiered with mediocre numbers and the ratings have gotten much worse — despite having The Voice as a lead-in. I suspect that the Taken TV show will be cancelled and not renewed for a second season.

VERY happy to see one of the most brilliantly conceived and masterfully written shows on TV renewed! The casting dept. is to be SO congratulated inasmuch as they nailed the lead casting roping Clive Standen in to fill the impressive and formidable shoes of Brian Mills nee Liam Neeson. The casting team also scored huge points in giving the assignment of team leader to Jennifer Beals. She is perfect for and in this role. I just feel this series could have so much better if the sister got taken rather than killed in the first episode.

notice how no one is concerned about the violence issues in yet another corrupt television show. I will simply leave this issue by using somebody else’s words saying it is their taste . What does that tell you? when you develop a taste for violence ? this is inside your soul ,it is who you are, your taste.
when you cannot see a problem with this you may want to think twice about if a television show is good for you are not. Does it inspire does it bring you happiness.
It just got renewed for season 2 about 2 hours ago but the main writer/producer is leaving
Also many of the original cast aren’t “renewed”, like my buddy Jose Pablo Cantillo which is the main reason I watch.
I love this show, but watch everything through Hulu or Netflix. I’m not sure how watching these shows, particularly through Hulu where you can see new episodes, stands in the ratings, or if they only consider those watched live. I just know that I can’t wait for the new episode every week and I really hope they don’t cancel it!

I have loved this series and is something my husband and I watch together, we don’t often share the same tv taste. I’ve also got my work colleagues hooked as well. Please renew this program!!!

Really….the Wall vs. Taken???? Turned the channel immediately. Taken is the 1 show I make actually rearrange my schedule to watch. So incredibly pissed I don’t get to see it this week. Shame on NBC. Who needs another stupid game show.???? Don’t cancel Taken. We love it! My husband & I are hooked.
