A new year means new episodes of Taken. Today, NBC announced the series’ second season will debut in January.
Based on the movie franchise starring Liam Neeson, the action thriller stars Clive Standen as a younger, hungrier former Bryan Mills in the aftermath of a personal tragedy. The cast also includes Jennifer Beals, Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Simu Liu, and Ali Kazami.
Season two of Taken is set to premiere on NBC on January 12th at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For NBC’s full midseason premiere schedule, see below:

What do you think? Have you seen Taken? Will you watch season two?
Yes, I’ll watch Season 2 of Taken, it’s a great show!!
Watch season 2 it is a good show
This is good news. Like Standen. Like Beals — one of the very few actors, IMHO who can pull off a strong, assertive woman boss character.
I’ll be interested in seeing what motivation they use as a sub for the tension of Bryan going after his sister’s now deceased killer. The show has a lot of potential. But it’s got to avoid becoming just another action series.
So glad it’s back. Love the action and suspense.
