Will The Conners return for another season? Deadline reports ABC is currently in talks for a second season of the Roseanne spin-off TV show.
The comedy series follows the working-class family of Roseanne and Dan Conner (John Goodman) including their three children Becky (Lecy Goranson), Darlene (Sara Gilbert), and D.J. (Michael Fishman), as well as Roseanne’s sister, Jackie Harris (Laurie Metcalf).
According to Deadline, ABC has begun negotiations with the cast of The Conners for a season two renewal. So far, ratings for the spin-off have been promising. Season one is currently earning an average rating of 1.62 in the 18-49 demo and 7.602 million viewers.

No, Without Roseanne its just not the same, Dan just seems like a sad old man, Darlene, ugh sarcastic but NOT funny, its just not the same. I have been watching the original series from the beginning on Amazon, this is just a poor imitation. Too Bad the PC police are in control of everything, and also too bad that the co-stars that she helped threw her under the bus.
No way, Roseanne made all of them stars!!! Without Roseanne the show lost its magic!! Darlene is really overdoing it with the sarcasm…. Everyone I know hates the show without Roseanne, Bring her BACK
There should absolutely be a season 2 of “The Conners” I think they are just hitting their stride after having to spend the first several episodes dealing with the loss of Roseanne. There are an infinite number of story lines that this show has the opportunity to pursue. Now that they are getting away from the necessary episodes of dealing with their matriarch the show has broadened and in my opinion gotten funnier along the way. The Connors show should come back but with Rosanne, and should be renamed Rosanne. ABC screwed her big time. It is WAY better with her.
