What’s This TV Show About?

A western family drama on the Hallmark cable channel, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Police Constable Jack Thornton (Lissing).
 

Season Five Ratings

Will Hallmark cancel or renew When Calls the Heart for season six? Since this show’s ratings rose significantly in seasons three and four, flying a bit blind I think it will get a sixth season, as long as the parties can agree on money.
