Chicago Fire has added a former Shadowhunter to its cast. According to Deadline, Matthew Daddario has joined the cast as a firefighter candidate. The news was confirmed in a photo shared on Instagram from the set.

The cast of Chicago Fire is seeing a bit of a shakeup with the exits of original cast member Joe Miñoso and Dermot Mulroney at the start of season 15.
Taylor Kinney, Miranda Rae Mayo, David Eigenberg, Christian Stolte, Hanako Greensmith, Jocelyn Hudon, and Brandon Larracuente are returning for the upcoming season of the NBC series, which follows the first responders of Firehouse 51.
Chicago Fire returns on October 7th.
