We have some bad, but not unexpected, news. Syfy has cancelled its Superstition TV show after just one season. The cancellation had been expected since December of last year, when Syfy moved the drama series out of its primetime slot to Thursdays at 11:00pm. Robinne Lee, who starred as Bea Hastings, confirmed the Superstition cancellation on her verified Twitter account. Check it out, below.
A Syfy horror drama, Superstition also stars Mario Van Peebles, W. Earl Brown, Demetria McKinney, Diamond Dallas Page, Brad James, Morgana Van Peebles, T.C. Carter, and Tatiana Lia Zappardino.
The supernatural series centers on the Hastings family of La Rochelle, Georgia. They happen to own the only funeral home and cemetery in town. Because of unexplained deaths due to demonic activity, the family also offers “afterlife care.” In addition to their arsenal of esoteric weapons, the Hastings employ extraordinary strength, alchemy, and their expertise in ancient lore and the occult, to keep the “Infernal problem” at bay, in this “landing patch” of a town.

Why wouldn’t they cancel thus Show? They had no original scripts……mooched offSuperaturaland others…..Caught in Time Loop….trapped in clock…….trapped in mirror…..all have been done before. It’s a shame though…characters were enjoyable to watch…..great cast ensemble. Scriptwriters letthemdown

Great show. Please bring it back. How does a show suppose to survive if it is not given the proper support or pub, like other shows are given. I didn’t even know this show existed until I accidently ran acrossed it. Never seen any commericials to give any indication that it existed. Obviously there is a market for it, otherwise Supernatural would not have existed as long as it has.
I loved this show and so wanted to see more of it. Syfy has canceled so many shows I like. Wish they would reconsider.
I need a 2nd season. This was a great show. Please move to a other channel or bring it back.

just happened to come across season 1 on ON DEMAND. Like it and was hoping for a second season…disappointed that it got cancelled.
Since syfy cancelled Superstition can another channel pick it up…a channel I actually watch more because now I have no reason to watch the syfy channel.

I loved the series because it came from a black point of view on things supprrnatural. I learned a few things like African folklore ANANSI I love magic and black magic is the BOMB….PUT IT BACK SYFY

Just don’t understand how majority of the decent shows on this network tends to get cancelled. While these other ridiculous shows with fairies can keep there slots not even entertaining
Me either, they have canceled a lot of shows I like and I don’t understand the age thing 18-49. Do they think people 50 and over don’t watch TV or stay up. I’m 51 and I do.

SyFy cancels a lot of shows that deserved more than what they got shafted with and now they continue their idiotic decisions.

That is SyFy MO. They cancel shows that are so good, they even cancel in the middle of a story line.That is why I DO NOT WATCH SYFY!!! Who ever is in Programming is a MORON.
I gave up after the first 3 episodes. It just bored me. Bring back Dark Matter!!!
