Girls season two ratingsThough Girls was a critical success in its first season, the HBO show wasn’t a hit in the ratings. Will the show’s luck hold out? Will HBO renew Girls for a third season or will they cancel it instead? We’ll have to wait and see.

Girls airs on Sunday nights and there are 10 episodes once again. The show stars Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, and Alex Karpovsky.

Year-to-year, the premiere was up by 25% in the demo (vs a 0.4 rating) and down by 1% in viewership (vs 0.872 million).


Reference point: The first season of Girls averaged a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 0.86 million viewers.

it’s already been renewed…
it was renewed back in January.
