Are you watching American Housewife? The ABC TV show is nearing the end of its first season, but what about a second season? If it’s renewed, will you keep watching the series?
The family sitcom revolves around an average wife and mom, Katie (Katy Mixon), who does her best to stand out from the “perfect” housewives and their privileged children of Westport. The cast also includes Diedrich Bader, Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, Julia Butters, Carly Hughes, and Ali Wong.
American Housewife premiered in October with a promising rating of 1.91 in the 18-49 demo and 6.61 million viewers. While the ratings have taken a dip since the show’s debut, the comedy is still a solid performer.
So far, season one is averaging a 1.48 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.35 million viewers—making it one of ABC‘s top-10 series for the 2016-2017 season.

Please bring the show back. It’s the only decent TV show on. We laugh , cry, and really connect with the characters. It’s been nice seeing a American Family with trials and trublations. Seeing how families can deal with life. Thanks Janette Costanzo

I do watch every week. The cast is terrific, leads and supporting. This is the only sit com I watch. I started viewing because of Katy Mixon as I loved her on “Mike and Molly”. She does not disappoint. Please renew for a second and third year. I need to know how the children survive especially Anna-Kat. Julia Butters is a talented youngster.
This show is fantastic, creative and entertaining. It is my #1 watch each week.

Yes, but writers should rethink Westport – the rich stereotypes are more CA than CT! And what’s with Katy’s voice? She brays too much & says the most vile things to and about her family. I wish she’d channel more April Buchanan & less Roseanne. Bader & kids RULE! (All this from a diehard Mixon fan, so no offense meant to KMixon!!!)
