Despite airing opposite the seventh game of the World Series on FOX, the series had a very positive debut. Year-to-year, NBC was up by 350% in the demo when compared to last year’s School Pride (0.6 in the demo). If most of these viewers keep returning week after week, NBC could easily have the highest-rated show of the night. It should also be noted that the debut of Grimm outperformed most other NBC shows which have the advantage of airing on better nights.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

I’ve lived in Portland most of my life. I watch Grimm and am very impressed by the accuracies of the show regarding the local ammenities.
It’s the only show that I can bear watching over and over, i.e. rerun worthiness is off the charts!
Please don’t cancel.
PLEASE do not cancel Grimm. When my daughter told me she had heard it was going to be cancelled I was devastated. It is such an imaginative, well written show. All of my friends agree that it is far more interesting than “Once Upon a Time”. Don’t let it go the way of Firefly.
Just been reading Lynn’s comments from December 31 and couldn’t agree more. “Grimm” is another new, original and creative show – a breath of fresh air, along with “Once Upon a Time” and “Terra Nova”. I can’t fathom why it runs opposite “Fringe” either, which is another of my favourite shows. Can’t you guys at NBC get with the program and make it possible for viewers to enjoy 2 good shows back to back instead of having to make it a big competition as to which program survives? Thank goodness for PVR’s!!
NBC has finally come up with a fresh/different series! Do NOT cancel Grimm!!!
Do not cancel grim I love this series.
Again to the TV Execs: why, having come up with an original, imaginative and attractive show like “Grimm,” do you have to put it on opposite “Fringe,” which is likely to appeal to exactly the same audience for very similar reasons? Why do you people make these boneheaded choices? Put it on AFTER or BEFORE the other, already established show That People Like Me Enjoy. OR, if you can’t manage that much, get with the whole 21st century thing and realize that traditional ratings don’t tell you how many people are watching your show. I watch a lot more TV… Read more »
Just started to catch this show in the past few weeks, and REALLY like it. Will be recording it or watching online when not home Fridays. That is, assuming the network doesn’t kill it before it can find more audience the way it found me. Dear TV Execs: not everyone finds shows right away. Take a lesson from the idiotic decision to kill “Firefly”!
I love Grimm. Everyone I know that has seen Grimm loves it. Please renew. I am already sad enough there was no show last week and won’t be on again until the 13th of January….. really? Ugh.
I love Grimm. Renew it. I hate so called reality shows. We need more shows like Grimm and Once Upon a Time.
I love Grimm — and have this message for the producers etc. DON’T CANCEL GRIMM — it is very interesting and just enough off of normal to make it interesting.
Please Renew it.
Do not cancel this show. It is awesome!
Do Not Cancel this show. I’ve finally found a reason to watch NBC again. This a great show with real potential for longevity. DO NOT CANCEL GRIMM!! Definitely worthy of another season!
I love the show.dont cancel it.renew it for season two
Definitely renew. It is getting better with each episode. Episodes 3 and 4 were weaker but there is a great potential for a great story and for a character development. I hope it gets second season.
This is the only show I watch on NBC,because it is fantastic.
Do Not repeat DO Not cancel this show!!!!!
