Despite airing opposite the seventh game of the World Series on FOX, the series had a very positive debut. Year-to-year, NBC was up by 350% in the demo when compared to last year’s School Pride (0.6 in the demo). If most of these viewers keep returning week after week, NBC could easily have the highest-rated show of the night. It should also be noted that the debut of Grimm outperformed most other NBC shows which have the advantage of airing on better nights.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Love Grimm but Prefer Once Upon A Time. I wouldn’t miss it that much if it was canceled.
This is a unique, well-done so that our whole family enjoys watching together. The script writing is clever and easily evokes a funny streak or serious dialogue. Love his friend; really adds a neat dimension. I would be really sad if this didn’t make it, and some of that other drivel out there does! Like when they shut down The West Wing. Heck, I’ll even buy some of the stuff they advertise!
This is the only show other than local and national news that I routinely watch. Best show Ive seen on tv in years. I look forward to it every week. If I can’t watch it when it airs, I always DVR so I can watch it later. Please don’t cancel! Also, Sasha Roiz is gorgeous! I’d love to see more of his character in upcoming episodes!
Bad acting and just bad all the way around. I miss really great T.V. shows! Cancel.
What would you consider great TV ?
Please dont cancel Grimm best and only show I watch on NBC!
Grimm is the best weekly series I’ve watch in years. Don’t cancel!!!!
It would be super great if NBC would move this show to 8:00, then I could watch this followed by Supernatural on the CW at 9:00. I would love to be able to watch Grimm, but as I’ve been watching Supernatural for 7 years and both show have a similar premise, I guess I’ll have to wait for it to come out on Netflix.
Grimm should get renewed for a second season. It’s the perfect mix of thrill, romance, crime drama, and suspense. The characters all have their own story, which adds depth to the episodes.
love it,keepitgoing
I love this show!!!! Grimm is one of two shows i watch. the other is person of Interest. I just hope and pray they don’t do something stupid like move it to another night. Sometimes NBC just doesn’t treat their shows well. They don’t have many shows with potential, and they need to leave this one on Friday where things are working out for it and where its sure to be renewed.
keep Grimm, it’s an awsome show, dont make another TV land mistake like star trek, family guy, firefly which all now have huge followings eventhough the execs didnt think they were worth keeping
What can I say? This show has it all. It’s funny and has plenty of room to grow. Who is the Lieutenant and is he a good guy, a bad guy, or a little of both. Will his partner be privy to what is happening? I can think of all sort of ways the show could go. And, the writing so far is first rate. Who knows what the powers that be will decide for Grimm. I, for one, am a huge fan
Please don’t cancel Grimm, I look forward to it every week. It’s a little bit of fantasy and humor that let me escape for an hour. It’s imaginitive, clever, humorous, and takes a mature, current spin on old childhood fables. I love that. Please give it another chance, Fridays work for me, but maybe another night would boost interest.
There are only 2 favorite shows I would watch on a Friday after work, the Grimm and the Gifted Man and now starting this week (2/24/2012) they are opposite each other at 8:00 p.m. Alaska time, they use to be on at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. is it possible that the gifted man and the grimm can move the times on t.v. so I can watch both.
Thanks,
Great show! Funny/punny, intelligent, good writing, imaginative; intelligent combo of detective show & fantasy; much better than “Once Upon A Time” which is a ripoff of the award-winning graphic novel “Fables”. NBC, after you cancelled one of the best science fiction shows of all time, “Journeyman”, after only 13 episodes (not to mention what you did in 1969 with cancelling Star Trek!), you owe us! Keep this show – especially any show set AND filmed in the amazing city of Portland, which we fell in love with last summer at the Mensa Annual Gathering. Have enjoyed watching “Grimm” and “Leverage”… Read more »
