Ingobernable is facing a big change. The series, which is coming to Netflix, is facing a change of location. Production was originally set for Mexico, but the series will now film in San Diego, according to Deadline.
The series will star Kate del Castillo, who was at the center of the scandal with Sean Penn and Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. The actress fears what might happen to her if she returns to Mexico to film the series.
Events have already caused a delay for production of the series, but Netflix is still moving forward with the project. The series has been given a 20 episode order.
Ingobernable will tell the story of “Irene Urzua, the wife of Mexico’s president. A woman with a strong personality, conviction and clear ideas, Urzua is capable of ‘creating a president, leaving a president and killing a president.’”

I loved the show please renew it
I was really looking forward to this series but after the 5th or 6th episode it started to drag. some of the acting was great but there were a couple actors who were just dreadful. For example: the second gray haired president reminded me of George Jefferson in ” movin’ on up.” all he did was pace around in his presidential office and button and unbutton his jacket.
Loved this show, please give us more and don’t leave us hanging, the star was great as was all the cast, totally hooked
Yesssss Definitely
I have been waiting to watch “Ingobernable ” for almost a year. I believe it will tell a truthful story of Mexico City government & president political parties and also of all the corruptions. Kate del Castillo is an Honorable woman!
