What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Mom centers on now-sober, single mother Christy (Anna Faris) and her mother Bonnie (Allison Janney) who is also in recovery. While Christy still considers Bonnie to be the root of her problems, she allows her mother to test her daily and keep her honest, as she pursues her dream of a legal career. Meanwhile, Bonnie is learning how to have a healthy romantic relationship and still wonders what she’ll be when she grows up. Together, and with the help of AA, these women spot one another along the road to recovery. Jaime Pressly, Matt Jones, Sadie Calvano, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Mimi Kennedy, Beth Hall, and William Fichtner also star.
Season Four Ratings
Mom season four averaged a 1.43 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.53 million viewers. Compared to season three, the sitcom is down by 15% in the demo and down by 5% in terms of average total audience size. Find out how Mom stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
While the ratings have dropped from season to season, that’s true of most TV shows. Overall, Mom is still a fairly solid CBS TV series. Mom is generally in the top half of the network’s shows in the important 18-49 year old viewer demographic. If it maintains these numbers for the remainder of season four, it seems likely Mom will be renewed for a fifth season. 3/23 update: CBS has renewed Mom.

Mom is a great comedy. It’s not afraid to push the envelope. It’s real life on the grill Creek. Lots of laughs, and sometimes tears. Allison is superb as the mother, she cracks me up with her quick with. The writers really do a great job. I want them back for a fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth season. We need to laugh as humans, and this show makes me laugh every time. The reruns still make me laugh, keep the show and the characters, all are excellent.

Please Please PLEASE DONT cancel MOM EVER!! This is one of the best series there is. Its funny and we still watch each season OVER and over and over. We can never get tired of MOM. Please renew every year…

I am somewhat concerned as a real recovering person how some things are portrayed. They might lead recovering new comers to believe its a good idea to be in a relationship with someone using or front out a new comer at a meeting with issues that might be handled more responsably. Just concerned, I enjoyed the show alot more in the earlier seasons.

I think Mom shouldn’t be canceled,after Bg bang theory it was like 3rd tv show I’ve got hang up on! It definitely shouldn’t end,waiting for season 5

Mom is one of my favorite shows!! The cast works, good balance of people and the chemistry between is superb!! Makes me laugh & cry and very funny with it’s funny take on life’s real possibility of struggles. Please keep this show!!!
Keep it going! Mom is the only show that can make people both laugh and cry. And it has so many great meanings for those peaple who are suffering from addiction and other problems. The most important thing: Its talented casts. Anna Faris just standing there can make me laugh and Allison who won 7 Emmys gave the best performance.
