What’s This TV Show About?
A BET college drama, The Quad stars Anika Noni Rose, Jake Allyn, Sean Blakemore, Aeja Lee, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Jazz Raycole, Zoe Renee, Peyton ‘Alex’ Smith, Michelle DeFraites, Kevin Savage, Tyshon Freeman, RonReaco Lee, Debbi Morgan, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Jasmine Guy. The story unfolds at Georgia A&M University, one of the nation’s most prestigious HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). As college president, Dr. Eva Fletcher (Rose) has to balance her personal life with her career and the needs of the institution and her students.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of The Quad averaged a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 553,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 28% and 31%, respectively. Check out the ratings of other scripted BET TV shows.
Telly’s Take
Will BET cancel or renew The Quad for season three? The ratings are down but it’s unclear if they are low enough to get the show cancelled because BET has so few scripted shows. Quad was one of my favorite shows on BET…. Sad that’s cancelled. I was looking forward to Season 3. I hope BET will consider to bring it back.

The was one of my favorite shows on TV. Being a graduate of Dlorida A & M University (FAMU), it really amazed me to see the correlation between the events that unfolded at FAMU within the past few years and actually see it in a TV series. I loved this show. Please bring this show back.

I do not watch TV very often and this is one series I looked forward to watching. I thought something was strange when President Eva Fletcher was fired. When I saw the movie I was hooked and then found out there was a spinoff series I could not wait. It was a nice break from the reality shows. So many unanswered questions. Loved the show. I hope it comes back.
I felt that the Quad showed some of the many challenges that college students face. It was tastefully illustrated. I would hate to see it cancelled.

They need a season 3 they can’t cancel the quad season 3 needs to come
The season final ended as if it was the last season please bring back the Quad for season 3 it is about everyday life and sets a good example for our youth to learn from .
I really love the Quad it is about real life events that we face in everyday life so I am praying for a season 3
Yes I enjoy watching Quad and I look forward season 3. All the characters come to life with real life issues as well as drive rise above their present situations.
I hope they renew the Quad for a thrid season I really enjoy this show I think it gives the viewers a realistic look into how life is at an HBCU very good writing.
