“We are incredibly thankful to ABC for all their continued support and to David Shore for bringing ‘The Good Doctor’ to television at the exact right moment; the show’s complicated, surprising and emotional journey is the perfect prescription for right now,” said Jason Clodfelter, co-president of Sony Pictures Television.

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Good Doctor TV show on ABC? Are you glad that it’s been renewed for a fourth season?
I am thrilled The Good Dr. has been renewed. I adore Freddie and the whole cast.
Thank you, ABC for FINALLY renewing a deserving show. The Good Doctor is real. Not a dance for joy and everything PC from top to Bottom like New Amsterdam; not where it is bad soap opera and medical mistakes too many to count and NOBODY EVER DIES as does in real life like Chicago Med; but real like in real life. Losing Melendez, one of my favorite characters was a blow. But the ending where others in here are lamenting Leah and Sean having that romantic moment at the end, I was rejoicing because since Sean is autistic and Leah… Read more »

I am soooooo very happy that The Good Doctor is renewed for ’20/’21 season. I love this show and hope it continues for as long a Grey’s Anatomy. Additionally, I hope ABC extends the number of shows in the upcoming season.
Dr. Murphy has autism, but he is not the robot he sounds like. The on again off again Lea/ Shaun relationship is sickening. He deserves more. Melendez dying was a jolt. The other doctor leaving to be with his family in Arizona, also a jolt. Three results I’m not liking.
The Good Doctor is one of my favorite programs.
A very compelling show. When I first saw Freddie Highmore in “August Rush”, I knew then that he would become a master actor and creater. He has done that, I look forward to next season.
Was very good. Getting too much like a daytime soap opera.
This show is must watch TV. love how Dr Murphy has been developed over the seasons. I would love to see this show on the air for as long as Grey’s Anatomy has gone on. Story possibilities are endless but most of all I want to watch Dr Murphy grow, and even age. Can totally see him navigating marriage and parenting a “normal” child, given his own childhood. I love this show and all of its complex emotional components including ensemble cast.
The series lacks drama. The first season was pretty good. Slowly it got confusing after then. You can’t continue to repeat the same thing with so few cast members show after show. Get back to content with original characters!!!
Please don’t cancel this show. It is a proven fact that people with neurological problems can still have a productive life. Just like Shawn has on this show. IT can definitely help those that think otherwise.
Love, love, love… The Good Doctor !!
