TV show description:
The care-free lifestyle of bachelor Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) comes to an abrupt end when his uptight chiropractor brother, Alan (Jon Cryer), divorces his wife Judith (Marin Hinkle).

Alan moves into his brother’s Malibu home and brings his 10-year-old son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), with him. Jake frequently gets caught in the middle between his fun-loving uncle and his uptight, but caring father.

But, while the Harper brothers are opposites, they’ll always agree on one thing: their disdain for their controlling mother, Evelyn (Holland Taylor). Charlie’s in no hurry to settle down the way his younger brother did and seeks the company of many women.

Two ladies who remain a constant in his life are his cynical housekeeper, Berta (Conchata Ferrell), and obsessive neighbor Rose (Melanie Lynskey), who tries to continually win Charlie’s affections following a one-night stand.

I’m from Switzerland, I can’t stay away of this very funny and entertaining soap when I meet Charly and his companions (the dialogues are phantastic) during zapping on TV, I also hope it lasts a few seasons more!
