Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
So sad. The stupid reality shows aire season after season but worth while shows like Believe get cancelled. What a shame. There are fewer and fewer shows I enjoy watching anymore and those aren’t on NBC.
Very bummed! It was such a good show. I looked forward to this every week.
It is a shame that because many watch this program through internet, they cannot count the amount of people that are interested and waiting for the next episode , I am very sorry that they leg it go, just give us MORE ……………
Cancel reality cop shows rich housewives who have nothing better to do but complain about their petty lives. Invest a little more and give us the pleasure to see Believe more episodes MORE………….
Why do they always let the good ones go?
Perhaps changing day and time early to mid season was not fair to this great show! I’m sure more would have been sure to stay tuned if they knew where to find it!! I stayed tuned via on demand, as did many others likely whose ratings didn’t get considered! Bad move NBC!!
I absolutely will miss the show Believe. I am disappointed by the decision to not renew for season 2. It was an intelligently written show and very exciting drama please please don’t take it off me and my husband watch it every week.
I will finish out Parks and Rec next season for laughs, but the “peacock” has lost me. This was a high-quality, engaging, and yes…here comes the dirty word…”family-friendly” show.
I’ll see you, NBC, to finish the season run of “Believe” and next year for “Parks and Recreation”. Then, we’re through.
Maybe a little marketing to create some attention to this excellent show would of helped.
Tooooo Bad!
This show was really good to me, what can we do to keep this show on?
Please go to Twitter and post
#bringbackbelieve
Post it on their page, post it on Johnny sequoyah’s page, post it on your page.
The last 4 eps are suppposed to air beginning May 25….watch it!
So pissed! The only thing I looked forward to on Sunday’s was this show! The storyline is so intense and the acting is fantastic! Don’t do this please, make it a summer series at least god!? I don’t know what I will do if I can’t watch this! Even though there were like 5 million people watching it, that is a lot if happy people that are just as freaking pissed off as I am right now!
I am very disappointed that “Believe’ has been cancelled. This show was something I looked forward to watching each week – I would DVR it also.
Very sad fan here.
It’s not rite! I look forward to see this show. Can’t you cancel a reality show!

Stupid decision! It was my favorite show.
