Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
My Mondays got a new beautiful meaning because of the show…THEN the Sundays…..WHAT A TERRIBLE THING TO BE CACELLED….AND ON MOTHER’S DAY 🙁
Sad that a show with a positive moral message gets cancelled, but that’s Hollywood for you. If it’s not dirty and morally reprehensible, it’s not worth airing.
We as a family where upset to find out that Believe was cancelled. We enjoy this show and now they pull it from the air this suckes . My family and myself are really disappointed with NBC you have lost another veiw.
I’m with you and your family, Condy. I have lost respect for NBC. It’s all about the “mighty dollar”, not about what is good and just. Believe had a positive moral message, which totally goes against Hollywood.
So upset! This is the only show that me and my wife is watching, so amnoying!
I’m very disappointed that Believe has been cancelled. I very much enjoyed watching it.
I really looked forward to watching this show. I hate that it was canceled ! I kind of thought it was moving along slowly. I hoped to see more dramatic story lines with Bo using her special talents.
So who knows that what these big wallet NBC corporate people are gonna do next!!! Grrrrr soooo mad n disappointed I’ll never watch NBC again!!!!
I agree Grrrrrrrrr
Yes seriously this is truly heartbreaking!!!
I am solo upset that believe was canceled! I looked forward to that show every Sunday!!! Finally a TV show worth watching and it gets canceled. Wow unbelievable!!!!!
I LOVE this show and am very disappointed that NBC is being so short sighted!!! I agree. I am tired of the same old; hospital, police and lawyer shows. It’s boring. This was different> I was enjoying the evolution of the relatiosnhip between Tate and his talented daughter, Bo. Johnny Sequoya is perfect as Bo Adams!!!
Berny, you are right on regarding so many shows. The same ole same ole.
Great show. But like touch and heroes before , it gets the axe. I really loved heroes and couldn’t believe it got cancelled. So when I started watching this one I figures it wouldn’t lat long. Show has good fighting evil and the good are prevailing. Today people like reality(FAKE) tv. Great shows like LEAVE IT TO BEAVER or THE COSBY SHOW would get cancelled in today’s immoral society.
I think it is terrible to cancel a great show that one can follow.. I was into it every week and watched that one and watched Crisis after it…and now that is cancelled too.. Boo on NBC..
Think about the people (viewers) that do watch it and like it… It was good to follow. Guess I won’t watch NBC shows anymore.
This totally sucks!! This (other than Call the Midwife) is the only thing worth watching on TV Sunday nights. I am so tired of reality TV … poligamy, strange addictions, hoarding, snotty little girls (aka Honey Boo Boo) to name just a few. Finally a decent TV show and they screw it up. I wish they’d given it a chance to develop the relationship between Dad and Bo .. she’s missed that all her life. YES, I know it’s only TV .. but if they fast forwarded through the need to have her captured and made it about her and… Read more »
I was really enjoying this show Believe, it seems everytime I find a show I like the network cancels it. They should ask the fans of the show how they like it, that will give the network an idea how many fans there is to keep it on the air. So please reconsider about letting the show stay.
Very saddened by this decision.. Now what will I do on Sunday night? This show was great. Had great story lines great characters and I loved it. Hope they smarten up and change their decision for those of us believers!!
For all I enjoy the show, as it’s progressed I’ve been expecting to hear that it’s been canceled.
Kind of heart warming, but just to unbelievable on too many levels.
Believe was such a lovely show, and the character of BO was an absolute reflection of divinely inspired goodness… Im very very annoyed.. Every time something comes on which has a heart connected message, its the same.. Soon these writers are just going to give up .. As even if the networks say YES.. our society is only able to connect to reality shows and needless violence or perversions. Maybe, people are so stressed and overwhelmed in real life.. they cant handle anything which allows them to feel, contemplate or ponder on issues.. hence the mindless rubbish….,
