It’s the end of the line for the Dallas TV show — for the second time. TNT has announced that they’ve cancelled the new Dallas TV show after three seasons.
A continuation of the successful CBS series from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Dallas follows the machinations of two generations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
Year-to-year, season three of Dallas was down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that certainly wasn’t a good sign for its chances of a fourth season.
In a statement, TNT said, “We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga. We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Cidre and the writers have been working on scripts and ideas for a fourth season of Dallas so hopefully she’ll share what would have happened at some point.

Yes I would watch Dallas on a other channel. I grow up with the original Dallas and Knots Landing. I will miss the new Dallas. I watched every week.

I’m so disappointed to hear of the cancelation! Larry Hagman would be, as well! He worked to the last to create a legacy and what appreciation does he get? TNT, I’m really dissappointed!

I have been waiting for season 4. I was looking for the date when I saw this has been cancelled. I LOVE the show. My husband even watched with me. Bring it back please.

I was looking forward to the 4th season. So disappointing. The entire cast was great and the writing was fantastic. I will miss this show.
BRING DALLAS BACK!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the best shows on TV. I couldn’t wait till the next week to see it. It was great acting & so exciting to see how JR’s son was going to be. Would he turn out like JR or be the nice guy. He would keep you on your toes especially when going head to head with Bobby or Christopher. Please bring it back. There’s nothing else on TNT that I like to watch but LOVE Dallas!!!!

This was a greats series and I miss it! It needs to be on another network, TNT did a terrible job of promoting it!! I hope another network will pick it up and give it a run with proper promotion. Thank you for asking!
Yes I want more Dallas I’m freaked its cancelled! Please have them continue that’s crazy they get us all invited and pull the plug no!I need more more more!
I wanted to like it but all they did was hop into bed. The storyline was second in line to sex. Sorry. Don’t want to watch it on any station.
Bring it back! I loved it! The only problem was TNT didn’t advertise when it would be aired and I found I would miss the first couple of episodes. It was a wonderful exciting series. Josh Henderson played JR’s son with total perfection.

Please bring Dallas back, I enjoyed watching Dallas when it orginally came on and then they brought it back,I loved the new version, you have a good show on and then you remove it don’t make sense, bring Dallas back!!!!!!
