CBS is bringing out the dead. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network is adapting the best-selling zombie novel Dead Mann Walking into a series.
The book, written by Stefan Petrucha, centers on Hessius Mann, a detective who’s been executed for allegedly murdering his wife. With the help of a new drug, he is revived and ready to investigate who really killed his wife. Oh, and there are also zombies.
Continuum creator Simon Barry is set to write the pilot, with Stephen Hegyes slated to executive produce.
What do you think? Have you read Dead Mann Walking? Would you like to see another zombie series?
It sounds like it could be a good show if it’s written well. I would check it out.
