The war between man and angels will continue. Syfy has renewed their Dominion TV show for a second season of 13 episodes.
Based on the characters from the Legion movie, Dominion takes place 25 years into the future, after the “Extinction War” in which an army of lower angels waged a war against mankind. The show’s cast includes Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Carl Beukes, Alan Dale, Roxanne McKee, Anthony Head, Luke Allen-Gale, Shivani Ghai, and Rosalind Halstead.
Airing on Thursday nights, the first season of nine episodes averaged a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.6 million total viewers.

I used to be a huge fan of the SyFy channel, (why did they change the spelling? ) With the advent of wrestling and reality shows I only watch it rarely. When “Dominion” aired, I had hope that SF was realizing that they had lost their way. Then it disappeared. I am stoked to hear that SF woke up. Hopefully, they will remain awake. “DOMINION!!” (I love Arch-Angel Michael!)

I love SciFi as a TV genre. If only the SYFY channel would stick to what the name of the station advertises and was meant to be, then the powers that be wouldn’t be scratching their heads wondering why their viewership keeps plummeting. Enough of the wrestling and reality shows. I enjoyed Dominion and want a second season…why do I have to worry and sweat it out that a show on this station that is actually scifi/fantasy may not get picked up, but the reality crap is guaranteed to keep clogging the station more each year?
