It’s been a bad week for Everybody Loves Raymond fans. Deadline reports the sitcom’s planned reunion at this year’s ATX Television Festival has been cancelled.
The news comes just days after one of the series’ stars, Doris Roberts, passed away. Roberts played Marie Barone on the long-running CBS sitcom, which also featured Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, and Peter Boyle.
The ATX reunion was planned to commemorate the show’s 20th anniversary this year. However, the festival announced scheduling conflicts and “many factors” got in the way.
We're very sorry to announce we won't be hosting #EverybodyLovesRaymond this year. Many factors made this not the right time. @PhilRosenthal
