Despite airing opposite the seventh game of the World Series on FOX, the series had a very positive debut. Year-to-year, NBC was up by 350% in the demo when compared to last year’s School Pride (0.6 in the demo). If most of these viewers keep returning week after week, NBC could easily have the highest-rated show of the night. It should also be noted that the debut of Grimm outperformed most other NBC shows which have the advantage of airing on better nights.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Love this show! I really really hope they don’t cancel it!!
This is a very good show with good acting and storyline….There will alway’s be a story to tell, if written well, with writer’s that have a good imagination…I alway’s DVR my other shows as well and watch this one…I really enjoy the humor too…I hope that since his superior in the department knows he is a Grimm, that his partner doesn’t find out about him, which would be hard in reality, but this is a show about book character’s, right, so I am glad he does have a side kick that is totally funny..I really hope this isn’t cancelled..I already… Read more »
This show is much better than once upon a time i hope it can air a second season because lets hope it can run for at least till six or seven seasons.
First 2 episodes were fun and frnakly a refreshing break from some of the ‘junk’ NBC calls tv. IMHO it is the best thing I have seen NBC in a while.
Great new show….There hasn’t been a series like this on in years…Definetely should be a season 2….
Grimm is the best of the Fall11 shows. Seriously. The flaws in the Pilot and S1E2 only serve to make me like it more. I only wish that Greenwalt could get Marti to consult. She could help him figure out his female character problem (like the fact that the lead actor and his love interest have the most awkward lack of chemistry I’ve seen on television in the past decade). On a side note: IMO, and with all due respect, Supernatural is super-stale. It’s in S7, two years past expiration after having an extraordinary 5-year arc, and has been abandoned… Read more »
Awesome pilot !!!! Excited for the next episodes !!!!
VERY ugly series, it must be cancelled!
I liked this show and I think it has some promise. Really, anything but singing, dancing and reality shows are OK with me.
Do people realize you can record 2 shows at once with most of the DVR devices? Who complains about not being able to watch a show? That is so 1975.
Your sarcasm aside – my point was that you can only record two programs – please note the word ONLY! If someone records both “Fringe” and “Supernatural”, then it would make sense to “complain” about not being able to watch a third show! You can count, can’t you?
And that is my problem. I have Fringe and Supernatural record. I have to use Hulu to watch Grimm.
I don’t have a DVR to record any shows. And Supernatural has had my Friday 9pm slot since it move to that time period.. I think Grimm should be on at 8pm that way I can watch it and then Supernatural. I bet you anything they will stick Awake in the friday death slot. The only thing that survives fthe Friday death slot is WWE Wrestling.
I thought it was entertaining, but it’s up against “Fringe” and “Supernatural”! I only saw “Grimm” because “Fringe” wasn’t on…so now I’ll have to watch it when it re-airs the next week on Syfy! I think it was a really silly time slot to put it in, those of us that like syfy type shows already watch at least one of the other two that are on at the same exact time! I guess this is good for OnDemand!
My wife and I have made plans to stay in on Friday nites to watch the series.
Thought it was fun. The acting was good, the characters are believable, strong and interact well. It had both humor and suspense. The special effects are awesome. I love the idea and am looking forward to the next episode.
The Pilot was AWESOME, I can’t wait for the next episode.
I enjoyed the pilot. It had a major crime to solve. It set up a long term mythology for the show that sounds interesting. It had some action and suspense. I liked the cast. And there was some humor.
