Episode 02-01: Monday, 9/19/11
Thanks in part to the season premiere of Two and a Half Men, this series debuted to a healthy 3.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.19 million viewers. It was first in its timeslot.

Year-to-year, the show was down by nearly 15% in the demo (3.9) and 16% in overall viewership (14.2 million). However, this was a marked improvement from the season finale which attracted a 2.7 in the demo and 10.41 million. It’s a good start to the season and hopefully they’ll hold onto some of these additional viewers.

Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.91 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I guess I know what happens in the latest episode. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but now I know that Kono gets reinstated, maybe I don’t need to watch. Usually people put some type of “spoiler alert” warning before posting such information.

THIS is how you do a TV reboot. But don’t do any more. The New H5-0 gets it right and is a great series apart from the original. Charlie’s Angels should just pack it up.

Keep it. Give it a chance. Don’t move it to Sunday. The start of football and the baseball playoff’s may have something to do with it. If you cancel it before it really gets started I think it would de-moralize the cast, especially Alex since CBS has pulled the rug from him twice before they could be accepted.

I think it should be renewed. It is only getting started. CBS sold season one tnt. That would say they have some trust in the show and the SOTB premier is proof it is worth keeping
