The second episode was down just a bit compared to last week’s with a 3.3 in the demo and 11.26 million. This was still a very solid performance and led the timeslot, once again beating ABC’s Castle in the demographic.

Episode 02-01: Monday, 9/19/11
Thanks in part to the season premiere of Two and a Half Men, this series debuted to a healthy 3.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.19 million viewers. It was first in its timeslot.
Year-to-year, the show was down by nearly 15% in the demo (3.9) and 16% in overall viewership (14.2 million). However, this was a marked improvement from the season finale which attracted a 2.7 in the demo and 10.41 million. It’s a good start to the season and hopefully they’ll hold onto some of these additional viewers.
Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.91 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Hawaii Five-0 TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
Keep Hawaii Five-0. Europeans watch the show every week too.
Definitely keep Hawaii Five-O. It is an awesome show with a great cast, lots of action and interesting story lines. Love Alex O.
Hawaii Five-O is one of my favs!! Love the scenery, and, of course, Alex O’Loughlin! Glad that Kono’s reinstated.
I guess I know what happens in the latest episode. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but now I know that Kono gets reinstated, maybe I don’t need to watch. Usually people put some type of “spoiler alert” warning before posting such information.
The show is a keeper.
I luv this show & with the ratings , i strongly believe that it will be renewed…
THIS is how you do a TV reboot. But don’t do any more. The New H5-0 gets it right and is a great series apart from the original. Charlie’s Angels should just pack it up.
I love Hawaii 5.0 and must be renewed, of course. It is one of the best series of the moment.
Keep it. Give it a chance. Don’t move it to Sunday. The start of football and the baseball playoff’s may have something to do with it. If you cancel it before it really gets started I think it would de-moralize the cast, especially Alex since CBS has pulled the rug from him twice before they could be accepted.
They need to keep H50. It is a great show and they have amazing cast and produces and writer’s. I just love Alex O’ Loughlin.
Keep it for a 3 season! I lo!
I think it should be renewed. It is only getting started. CBS sold season one tnt. That would say they have some trust in the show and the SOTB premier is proof it is worth keeping
love the show! Wish they would either change the time slot for Hawaii 5-0 or Castle. Thank goodness for DVRs! both great shows!
I love Hawaii Five-O & Alex O’Loughlin!! Really hope they keep it.
Love me some Hawaii 5-0!!!
I love Hawaii 5-0. My favorite tv series. I love Alex O’Loughlin!!!!
