Thanks in part to the season premiere of Two and a Half Men, this series debuted to a healthy 3.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.19 million viewers. It was first in its timeslot.
Year-to-year, the show was down by nearly 15% in the demo (3.9) and 16% in overall viewership (14.2 million). However, this was a marked improvement from the season finale which attracted a 2.7 in the demo and 10.41 million. It’s a good start to the season and hopefully they’ll hold onto some of these additional viewers.
Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.91 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers.
