Sorry Reckless fans, there won’t be a second season of the steamy summer legal drama. CBS has cancelled the series after one season of 13 episodes.
Reckless revolves around a beautiful litigator from the north and a charming southern attorney who must hide their intense mutual attraction as a police sex scandal erupts in Charleston, South Carolina. The TV show’s cast includes Cam Gigandet, Anna Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Georgina Haig, Adam Rodríguez, Michael Gladis, Kim Wayans, and Gregory Harrison.
The series debuted in late June to just a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.99 million total viewers. The numbers didn’t get much better over the course of the season and ended up averaging just a 0.6 demo rating with 3.91 million viewers. The network burned off the final episodes on a Saturday night.

Can’t believe it’s cancelled. It was riveting. Did CBS not promote it all? Smart, ethical protagonists, plot twists, gorgeous locale…hope somebody picks this up and makes another aeason.

Oh no!! I have been waiting for Season 2. I can’t believe that CBS cancelled one of the best shows on their network. I hope they reconsider their decision. There are so many stupid shows on the air. UGH!!!
Oh No!!!!!!! I’ve been looking forward to Season 2 all Fall & Winter!!!! With so many awful shows on TV, how can you take a beautiful one off the air? I’m extremely disappointed in CBS. I loved this show!!!!!

I can’t believe they cancelled this show! I really loved it. There are so many crummy and ridiculous shows out there!! CBS needs to rethink this one. At least I can just watch it on Netflix over and over until they “cancel” it.
