As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Revenge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Please do not let anyone cancel REVENGE. It is the best show on TV.
My friends and I all love it and chat about it among each other weekly…There have been lots of really good shows cancelled and it is a shame…
Please renew Revenge as it has so much potential and it has such a great plot…..and there are very few on TV that do..
RENEW!
I hope they renew it for another season. I think Emily is great.
Love the show hope it comes back just wonder if Daniel dying would hurt the show at all? I think there are still others that she wants to get back at though.
I hope that they come back for another season but if Daniel is dead is the show going to be as good as it was?

This is by far the most rivoting show I have ever watched. I cant get enough of it. I will be so disappointed if it is cancelled, although I dont see how the story line can keek going.
We love Revenge. Please have a second season!
Revenge and The Good Wife are the only shows on t.v. that have good writing and plots to them.
From a couple who waits for Wednesday nights!
I’ve been riveted to this show since the first episode!! In the first episode, they start at the end of the story, as it were, then go back to unfold all the events that brought them to that point. It is amazing every week and I don’t ever miss it! There are SO many little things you have to watch and listen for..because each may be a clue to past or future events… IMHO, This show is well worth it’s salt!! I really hope they keep it on- I want to see Emily/Amanda get her revenge for the miserable life… Read more »
I love that show. I look forward to Wednesday night to watch to see what is going to happen next. Now that William Devane is on the show it will really heat up. I am a old die hard fan of William when he was on Knots Landing I never missed an episode of that show also the same with Dallas, watched them all.
I’m a fan of Bill, too. He’s so good at playing either good or bad guy.
Love this show… I really hope it continues and they don’t cancel.
