As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Revenge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Just telling itlike it is !
I cant begin to tell you how angry I am that you suckered me into watching your new “Revenge” Thanks for a real dirty trick and “KISS MY ASS ! “
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW–
IT’S THE MOST EXCITING SHOW ON TV IN YEARS.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS BORING IN COMPARISON.
I and many of my friends, can’t wait to see each other and ask…So how did you like our show? I enjoy almost too much how sneaky and justified this plot seems…I know I don’t want to tick Amanda off. For that matter Victoria is not a good enemy. I have really enjoyed this show. Please don’t make me say goodbye…………
i think we should cancel the network – abc. if they can’t play a series without weeks off all of the time: they should give their license back.
Revenge keeps you on the edge of your seat. The cast is superb and the storyline is exciting. I look forward to viewing each new episode. This show could be the next “Dallas” which lasted 13 seasons. Revenge should not be cancelled.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show & is my #1 fav of the season. April’s new episodes can’t get here soon enough. Don’t let this one slip away – PLEASE!!!!!!
My husband and I really enjoy this show, we hope you do not cancel the show.
I love the show, but I think they would have been better off to have done a mini series type deal with it. I definitely don’t want to see it end without some kind of wrap up. I hate it when programs just get canceled and there is no conclusion.
Love this show, Best series on Television!!
i think it is one of the best new shows on tv. please do not cancel.
i think it is one of the best new shows on tv. please do not cancel.
LOVE REVENGE … PLEASE, bring it BACK. Disappointed that there were ‘reruns’ or “replacement” programs, before the season finale. If this network, fails you….bring it back…on another basic cable channel. A network should be as loyal as the program is to it’s viewers. This program, producers, directors, actors and actresses deserve more than the network that doesn’t believe in the success and meaning to it’s viewers.
Agreed with you Cheryl!! How do we get ABC to keep this show?? Network doesn’t care about what viewers want but the best “ratings”…oh please!! I wish someone or some of the people at network does SEE n envisioned that this show will be a great success…so many shows are boring, predictable, stupid, etc. This show, Revenge, is the BEST one in a LONG time!! …..PLEASE ABC NETWORK….KEEP THIS SHOW!!
Keep this show going
i love this shoe so much im writing a college paper about it pleaseeeeeeeeeee never get rid of it !!!!
