As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Revenge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

We LOVE the show – my 5 kids between the ages of 25-35 LOVE it and really like the cast .
Finally something worth watching !!!!!! What a great show, for once do the right thing and KEEP IT !!!!!!!
I sincerely love this show. There are very good writers out there and their works are not appreciatated because it is cheaper to produce unscripted shows and call them reality.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some good reality shows like “the deadiest catch”, “iron chef” and “ultimate cakes” but there are brain rots out there too, like big brothers, and trying to find mates here and abroad, from the south to the west.
Please do not cancel this show.
I think this is the best show on television worth watching these days! I thought i would never stay awake to watch it since it doesn’t come on until 10:00 where i am, but i am wide awake as soon as it starts, and i won’t us the bathroom until it is off. I absolutely love this show, and look foward to see it on Wednesday. Please keep it on and switch it to an earlier time slot for working viewers. the best I’ve seen on TV in a very long time.
We love this show. We might miss any show that’s on, but we will always be home to watch this one.
Donna
We love the show Revenge with all it’s twists and turns. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL!
Please do not cancel Revenge. I love it. Can’t wait for Wednesday. This series and CBS Good Wife are my favorites.
DO NOT CANCEL.
Love the show, but what’s she gonna do when she runs out of people to destroy? I certainly wouldn’t want to be on her list! 😀
Do NOT cancel Revenge. Great show. I love it!
I LOVE this show!! I am a huge fan of Emily VanCamp from Everwood and Brothers & Sisters. I think this is her best work yet. Yes, this show is dark, but it is very entertaining and keeps me on the edge of my seat. I look forward to watching it live every week, and that’s saying a lot because I rarely watch anything that is not recorded on my DVR. I really, really, really hope “Revenge” will be renewed for Season 2.
Please DO NOT cancel Revenge! You can’t just watch the FIRST show and just be done with it. If you continue to watch it, I’m more than certain that you’ll be fond of it. Don’t give up on Revenge please !
I watched the first show and haven’t tuned back in. I prefer not to support shows based on negative aspects of the human race. Why not create instead a show called “Redemption” based on how a character struggles to transcend his/her life traumas in a healthier way? You say what? …. Oh, because no one would watch? Hmmm. Sad comment.
I THINK THIS PROGRAM IS GREAT. MY WIFE AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING IT EVERY WEDNESDAY. EVERY MOMENT OF THE PROGRAM IS EXCITING. PLEASE
DON’T CANCEL THE PROGRAM.
Renew it! 🙂
We love Revnge. DO NOT CANCEL or we will take Revenge!
