As expected, there was a good amount of drop off between weeks one and two. Episode two drew a 2.7 rating in the demo with 8.54 million, a loss of 18%. Hopefully this will be the end of the erosion but my gut is that it isn’t. CSI easily won the timeslot this time around.
Season average: 3.0 demo with 9.28 million.
Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/21/11
It was a positive debut for Revenge with a 3.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.02 million viewers. That was good enough for the drama to win its timeslot. One the downside however, the series lost a lot of viewers between the start and finish of the hour. It went from a 3.8 in the demo (thanks to Modern Family) and ended with a 3.0. That’s a sign that those people who switched it off mid-way won’t be back next week.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Revenge TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

This is a REALLY Greay show i really hope it returns in 2012 when is the season finally
I can’t wait for Renvenge new shows to start. It is my favorite TV show. I was very dissapointed when season one shows ended. Please DON’T cancel this GOOD show.
Off topic but to address a previous comment, I come from a family of dog lovers, retrievers and labs and mixed and the dogs on average live 14 to 17 years so it is not an impressibility.
Love this show…..it is the main one I look forward to every week!!!!!!!! Do not cancel!
one of my favorite shows, please don’t cancel it i look forward to my wednesday nights because of this show!
Love it! Bring this show back for season 2!
I absolutely loved this show, I couldn’t wait for the next week. Best one thus fall, I woukd be devastated if there wasn’t a Season 2.
I really enjoy this show. I definetly feel it should be renewed for another season.
It’s the reason I’m watching TV again…too many shows have been cancelled early on, don’t cancel!!!
I would like to see Revenge back for season 2. This is the only show I watch and it is getting good. Please do not cancel it .
I’m beginning to wonder if there are going to be any good people left on this show. Before long, we’ll find out Jack has some evil plan. I really like this show.
However, while 24 is being mentioned — to me, Person of Interest is the best replacement for 24. Reese is kick ass.
Although I am an ardent watcher, I am a little peeved that the writers have not given much thought to the age of the dog. What is he; immortal? Even if Emily/Amanda was 8 (the oldest) when she was taken away and she’s in her 20s now, that would make the dog 15 [the youngest]. And, if that was the case, he wouldn’t be walking around…..Give me a break and give your viewers a little more credit!
Who cares how old the dog is. Why would u even think of that?
Anonymous » I thought the same thing about the dog. I suspect the writers liked the idea and hoped nobody would think much about it.
If you watched the show you would have seen that Emily had a flashback of when she left, it showed the dog (a puppy at that time) running to Jack and him saying he would take care of him.
Best one to watch on Wednesday. It is our number one show, surpassing Criminal Minds and Law & Order SVU. Please don’t cancel another great series. It is the best thing since 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.
Please do not cancel another great series. This actually has some decent acting and great characters. It is as intriguing as 24 was. Bring it back for another season or two.
i would be so happy if revenge has a season 2 the best fall season show on tv .
