The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Why are shows like deperate housewives and bachelorette still airing strong but interesting ones like The Tomorrow People gets canned?? Ugh, I hate the masses crappy taste in shows.

I think there should be a second season of The Tomorrow People. My entire family loved this show and that’s a hard task. We usually all don’t like the same shows. The way this show ended also left open numerous opportunities that I think should be explored. Please, please bring back The Tomorrow People! I want to see what happens next!! 😀
My daughter and I only just found this show and watched series 1 back to back and now find out no series 2! Our sort of show now we have to go back to the rubbish that they make a thousand seasons of

Please make a second season. I just started watching it on Netflix and I’m really upset to only see one season and to hear there’s not going to be another! 🙂
My boyfriend and I really are disappointed there won’t be a 2nd season how does it have such low ratings and yet 5 stars on Netflix we really hope to see a 2nd season start we believe it really is a great show

This ruined my day!!! I love this show & so does my family. We watched the entire season in 3days & that’s around 2 full time jobs. We couldn’t get enough!!! Please make another season, or at least one more episode to finish it off!!!!!!!
