The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

They should put it on Wednesdays so they get more veiwers and because the way they end season one makes it to seem there should have to be a season 2
Everybody stop saying a season 2!
I believe that cancelling the show so early, I mean not giving it at least two Seasons, was a mistake. I was just beginning to really enjoy it and then BOOM it’s cancelled. Big mistake!
This is bull****! People rather see dumb a$$ shows about dancing or a person sleeping with multiple people on the quest for love, instead of watching Tomorrow People. Believe it or not, when we first descended on this planet, we also had the 3 T’s…the show might be a little far fetched, but for those who have seen the documentry on youtube called “our history is not what you think” have already been educated…just saying. Very good show.
This is one of the better shows that CW has dropped. It seems they are making a habit of dropping good shows the last several years. Hopefully Netflix will pick it up as a series as they have done to others or perhaps CW will come to their senses and bring it back!

I believe there should be a second season of the tomorrow people because I can’t not find out what happens … you can’t just cut it off there…its too good of a show.

I don’t know how it received such low ratings, I just finished season one and it’s my favorite show I’ve watched so far in Netflix. To find that it’s cancelled upsets me a lot! Bring a season two or else you should have had the season 1 ending in a way that we would know there wasn’t a season 2 coming!
