The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

The tomorrow people was absolutely one of the best TV shows I have ever seen hands down. Why in **** would not make a second season. You basically got my hopes up for nothing. Thanks

This is Absolutely retarded. This show is awesome just like Star Crossed was. Just because we don’t watch it the night it plays does not mean people don’t like or watch them on a later date. All the characters are both shows are great and yall picked the right people for the characters. I bet there is a lot more who actually watch these shows. So think it over again and bring back the shows please

The tomorrow people was the best show of my life… I’m so mad that you are making a second season because you ended the first season on the total cliffhanger. Luke Mitchell playing John in the movie the tomorrow people was my favorite character for five years before the show started. Now he is my favorite movie star. and to see him on this cliffhanger on my favorite show/movie made me very frustrated. I’m very disappointed in you guys for letting down my favorite show basically my life thanks

whats this why they are not making the 2 season in the last episode it seems that there is going to be the 2 season while jhon dont remember his friends it does seems good there would be 2 season and it would be awesome and i would love to see it msg for the director they should maKE another season other wise the story would not be completed

I think it should NOT have been canceled. “The Tomorrow People” was a great Tv show. It always had me at the edge of my seat, and I would do anything for it to come back.
Bring back the tomorrow people series! I bet the second season will be better. I don’t see how people didn’t like the first season.
They need to bring back both The Tomorrow People and Star-Crossed. I didn’t watch them on The CW, but I saw them both on Netflix and fell in love! And now I find out they’re not even coming back? This is an outrage! I’m completely appalled to hear about this. I live for my Netflix shows and I want these back! Please bring them back!
