The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

The CW fails us as a network when they do things as they do, Whoever made the decision to cancel both Star Crossed and The Tomorrow People must be GAY, Both shows kept me coming home on time lol… Whatever the case what do the words of viewers matter anyway… The true wants of real viewers get lost in the shuffle anyway!!!
Please bring it back! I need to see Season 2!!!!!!!!
Don’t cancel the show sure it didn’t have that many rating but it finally got good. Plus you can’t leave us hanging on that last scene. Totally messed up.

Its really unfair to get us engrossed in a fictional show and then stop its production. The curiosity and excitement comes to a dead end. I absolutely loved the show and I’m outraged after knowing that there won’t be a continuation.
The show shouldnt have been cancelled it was amazing the best show ever, better than supernatural . alphas . arrow. Now that stephen descoverd new powers CW cancelled it what happend with stephen and cara and john did he recrute cara and russel and the othere tomorrow’s does stephen lead all the new brakouts this is why CW cant cancell the show
