Big Brother: Season 15 Ratings (Veto)

Big Brother 15Julie Chen is back in primetime, hosting the 15th cycle of Big Brother. Will this summer TV series continue to be a multi-night hit for CBS or will the ratings fall? Cancelled or renewed for season 16? We shall see.

Big Brother typically airs three nights a week — Tuesdays Wednesdays (veto), Wednesdays Thursdays (eviction), and Sundays. Below are the latest ratings for the “veto” episodes.

Final season averages: 2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.36 million total viewers.

Wednesday, 09/18/13
2.5 in the demo (+9% change) with 6.71 million (-2% change).
Season averages: 2.17 in the demo with 6.36 million.

UPDATE: CBS has renewed Big Brother for season 16 which will air next summer.

2.3 in the demo (0% change) with 6.83 million (+1% change).
Season averages: 2.15 in the demo with 6.33 million.

Wednesday, 09/04/13
2.3 in the demo (+10% change) with 6.75 million (+6% change).
Season averages: 2.13 in the demo with 6.28 million.

2.1 in the demo (-5% change) with 6.36 million (0% change).

Reference point: Last season, the veto night episodes averaged a 2.1 rating with 6.02 million.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
