Raymond “Ray” Barone (Ray Romano) from Long Island has a seemingly perfect life but often gets pulled in too many directions.
He’s a successful newspaper sportswriter, who lives with his loving but no-nonsense wife Debra (Patrica Heaton), daughter Ally (Madylin Sweeten), and identical twins Michael and Geoffrey (Sawyer and Sullivan Sweeten).
Frequent visitors to the house are Ray’s parents, meddling Marie (Doris Roberts) and crass Frank (Peter Boyle), who live too close for comfort, just across the street. Ray’s policeman brother Robert (Brad Garrett), who sometimes lives with his parents, resents Ray’s successful career, family life, and favoring by his parents.

This to me is why I think men are afriad to get married. They see how things are when you have three kids and parents. “Here take these. They’ll take care of everything.” “Yeah except b****y right Ray?” See it’s that kind of stuff, that may just make men say “I don’t.” I’m not saying Ray was perfect but still. Sorry for the rant. Anyways I watched this entire series like 3 times now front to back. It was pretty good. I didn’t quite love it though if you didn’t already guess that. I mean if countless storylines with it being about Debra and the PMS you better not dare even think bout mentioning to say the least. But it’s scary to me that Ray said alot of it was based on real events in his life. You know I’m just saying. Anyway the series was funny with Peter and Dorris all the time and the dull but still funny Brad always being second in line wasn’t bad but did get a little old after a while. I would give this show a 8 out of 10. I recommend this show to any guy that already doesnt want to get married, already married or already in love. And to every woman, young or old.
