TV show description:
Santa Barbara police detective Henry Spencer (Corbin Bernsen) assumes that his son Shawn will follow in his footsteps and relentlessly hones the boy’s powers of deduction and observation.
As an adult, Shawn (James Roday) has a hard time finding a job that holds his interest, much to the frustration of his now-retired father. While watching a news report about a robbery, Shawn realizes that the victim is actually the guilty party.
When he goes to the police to give them the tip, he’s accused of being an accomplice because he appears to have inside information. To avoid arrest, Shawn convinces the interim chief, Karen Vick (Kirsten Nelson), that he is psychic. She warns him that, if his powers are a trick, he will be prosecuted. Because he has to keep up the act, Shawn decides to make the most of it and is hired to help the police solve difficult cases.
Head detective Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) is skeptical while junior detective Juliet O’Hara (Maggie Lawson) is intrigued. Shawn ropes his longtime best friend, pharmaceutical employee Burton “Gus” Guster (Dule Hill), into forming a detective agency with him.

Psych is the most awsome series ever, i just hope they will keep funding them for at least 2 more years (or more). They make the most coolest team ever. God bless you two, your show is the only series i would go and buy at the stores.
O man!!!!!!!!!!! do these guys read these posts.. i surely hope .. i have so much fun watching this show.. trulu funny and yet there is a sense of seriousness.. i think i am in love with ‘Gus’ with his sexily -neat self lol… ‘Shawn’ is too funny for words. ‘Lassiter’ is cute is a wierd serious way lol… guys dont worry i am not a wierdo.. just love the show… kudos to Gus and Shawn for its production ..
oh, one thing, i dont htink you guys should have allowed Shawn and Juliet to hook up so quickly… Gus need not be emotionally attached as yet … not right now.. he needs time to develop as aperson (character) .. Lassi needs a friend after his divorce.. my word his ex-father in law was a piece of work lol.. we need to see more of Chief Vick’s family… police work is not only about solving crme but how that job affects ur family.. until later.. this is my first time… how many seasons are out so far… i ahve up to season five.. i dont get to see the show regularly.. i have to buy the DVD’s.. adios
