12 Monkeys TV Series on Syfy: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of 12 Monkeys averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 795,000 viewers, while the second season averaged a 0.12 rating and drew an average total audience of about 402,000 viewers. That’s down by 52.92% and 49.43, respectively.
What do you think? Should the 12 Monkeys TV show have been cancelled or renewed? Is season four a good time to end it, or is it too soon?
Are you people crazy ? THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW ON TV. It left us guessing all the time? What year would they go to? What would happen to them there? Would they get back ? It was wonderful. Please bring it back.
I agree completely Teresa. However I do feel like the quality in s3 dropped a small amount (still great). My favorite episode of TV ever is the S1 ep w/ heavy focus on Jose in jail…how cool were Olivia’s monologues spliced over his day to day.
After seeing the live ratings for season three go below a 0.10 in the bingeathon, Thank goodness next season is THE END!
One of my favorite shows. Stupid of them to only have a 10 episode season and burn it off in 3 days. Sell it to Netfix or Amazon, don’t kill the series!
You would have preferred one episode every week for 10 weeks? Okay. SYFY knew the live ratings would be atrocious(and they were) so they binged it. I would rather they did 10 weeks to see exactly how pathetic the ratings would be, but lots of people liked the binge method. I mean the ones that watched. Fortunately, season four is THE END!
I loved the movie, but the show never managed to draw me in fully. I gave up watching it after about 3/4 of season 1.
Hey! A new way to release a show so that the world doesn’t see it receive horribly pathetic ratings and then humiliate you when you renew it again! The Clowns are still at work at NBC Universal. They haven’t changed a thing.
Def agreed with you, I like the show but it has to be finish with season 3.
There will be a season four. BUT THAT IS IT!
Actually, I’m glad they are releasing it this way so that we can see it ALL- so tired of getting half way or 3/4 way through a Season and the knuckleheads at the head of the table make the call to cancel w/no resolution. At least this way we get resolution….at least through Season 3.
