Compared to the two hour premiere of Terra Nova, FOX was up by 6% in the demo. In addition, Alcatraz gave the network its best drama premiere in the demo since Lie to Me launched in January 2009.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I enjoyed watching Alcatraz, much more than Terra Nova. The potential to expand on what was built is there. Although I wouldn’t mind if they did knock off Rebecca, perhaps the weakest link of the show.
Plese keep the show. It is a wonderful way to see the history of such a place. Better than most shows on TV that have been rescheduled.
Alcatraz is the best show on TV. FOX needs to be smart and renew it for another season. Time slot could be better but if I can’t catch it I DVR it, won’t miss an episode it is so good! I agree with what Marianne and Debbie wrote above, there is to many reality shows on and I hate them too, what we viewers need is quality shows like this one! Alcatraz is a great weekly Episodic adventure which takes you on an exciting ride. This show is one of the better shows on TV now. Quit with all that “Reality” junk that is spewed on tv now as if everyone wants to see this mindless crap. That is the trouble with TV now, no good shows seem to get a fair shot anymore. Just the junk jello reality shows.

My wife and I love Alcatraz! It is entertaining and has a nice twist of history in with it. Please bring it back for more seasons!

Please, please return Alcatraz for another season. I absolutely hate all those reality shows that are on. Those shows are soooo stupid. Alcatraz is one of the shows my daughter and I absolutely cannot wait to watch each and every week. Please keep this show going. Do not cancel it!!!!
