Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
What a shame . A truly unique TV show. I hope they reconsider and decide to add more episodes. No wonder why pay TV has survived. Network TV doesn’t know when they have a gem.
Very sorry to hear that Believe will be canceled after only one season. Great show. You can’t use the low viewing numbers it got as a reason to cancel when you put it in the time slot you did against the shows you did. Shame on you NBC.
Unbelievable! A GOOD drama and it is cancelled? Why?
Great show!! It’s the best tv series I’ve seen in years. I certainly hope NBC reconsiders.
A beautiful show that brings warmth to my heart has been taken away….how sad for tv that a show that does good for others is axed but others with sex and violence remain…goodby NBC !
Just the name of the show, speaks for itself. I think this show should have been given a chance, isn’t believe an opportunity in life. Never quit, and keep hope and all will come in place. Children watch all kinds of shows, violence is totally in force, why not a show about a child believing she can make a difference, the good comes out, and people should be aware that good can conquer evil. I am greatly disappointed in your decision, diversity is a good thing, and it’s too bad writers are to busy looking at figures, ratings, rather than… Read more »
I think the show is great. It is a feel good show with enough action that my husband even likes it. I’m getting sick of the murders and crime filled stuff that is out there. Why can’t the station give it a fair shot in a different time slot.
Yeah, it sucks this show was cancelled but not surprising. There is some stiff competition out there. Plus shows like this are usually cancelled like that show with Keifer sutherland, where he played the father of a boy with special abilities. People just stop believing.Still i think this show deserved more of a chance.
Yeah to bad it’s cancelled every time a good show comes along with no filth or sexual content it gets cancelled. The network needs to wake up and order more good clean wholesome tv shows like this one as. Society needs a big dose of good to get people back on track and doing good themselves .
I’ sorry to hear that Believe was cancelled – it was quite original and interesting. I certainly cannot understand why it had so low numbers!!!
We MUST TELL NBC TO RENEW BELIEVE!
Complaining on this site Won’t Help Us At ALL!!!!!! Go to NBC’s contact page (http://www.nbc.com/contact/general), use the pull-down to select Believe and TELL THEM WHAT YOU THINK! The only way we’re going to get Believe back is if we ALL COMPLAIN TO NBC!
I DID MY PART …and complained …I also signed this petition ..here is the link: https://secure.avaaz.org/en/petition/NBC_america_network_Bring_back_Believe/ …..PLEASE GO TO THE LINK ABOVE & DO YOUR PART TO KEEP OUR TV SHOW ALIVE!!! I ..BELIEVE.. DON’T YOU? !!!!!!
So sorry to hear Believe is cancelled. I used my DVR to record all the shows. It go better every week. I think I am missing the last episodes of the season. Can you tell me when they will be aired? Maybe A&E would pick up the show.
The last few eps begin airing tonight in the same time slot.
Tonight being May 25 that they begin airing the last eps.
Believe is one of the shows I followed faithfully. I liked it because the mystical talents of the young girl was similar to those of the young boy in Touch.. It got cancelled too soon, also. I will miss this show and I am glad the last four episodes will be presented giving the writers time to wrap up the story correctly. I would be happy if another network picked up the show.
Canceling of Believe and Crisis is why NBC is losing viewers…I give up on watching any NBC program….
Canceling Believe and Crisis…No wonder NBC is going down the Drain…..I won’t watch anymore new shows NBC…Actually…giving up on them altogether…!
