In the past year, TBS cancelled several of their existing sitcoms. The cable channel has also been struggling to find a hit. Will Clipped be the answer to their prayers and be a ratings success? Will it be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
On Clipped, a group of very different young people who all went to high school together (but ran in very different crowds) end up working in the same barbershop in Charleston, Mass. The cast includes Ashley Tisdale, Mike Castle, Matt Cook, Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Pinkston, Diona Reasonover, and George Wendt.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
10/23 update: TBS has cancelled this sitcom after one season. Details here.
Final season averages: 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.22 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Clipped TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Love Clipped! Love the Boston accents! It’s the closest any sitcom has come to a half decent — accent. The star of the show–Ben, the owner. The guy is hillarious.
Renew the show its a good show its funny I like
Great new show, bring on season two.
Painfully unwatchable, and a criminally waste of the talented George Wendt. Not funny. Not clever. Childish and insulting.
Cancel this show YESTERDAY!!!
This show sux! Sullivan and Son was the worst, along with Ground Floor, but Clipped may be even worse! I know hard to believe, isn’t it……
One of the key things that we look for in any show is a character that we, the audience, can relate to. Hard times, dumb luck, drinking problems, or take your pick. We enjoy watching these shows because we have had situations like the ones a character finds him/her in each week. Or, we could see ourselves getting involved in that situation. Clipped is a unique show in that it does not follow the standard formula. Most shows dedicate themselves to the development of one or two characters in the hopes that the audience will relate to them and use… Read more »
This one of a very few shows currently airing that I find myself actually looking forward to watching each week. It may not make you roll on the floor laughing but it is funny just the same. And of course it’s great to see ‘Norm’ back in a show on a regular basis. Good cast, seems to be chemistry there. Hope it gets renewed.
Closed minded!!! It is 2015!!!
Horrible show, not at all funny..cancel it.
if you like a show promoting gay life, you will not like it,if you do not like gay promoting shows ,you should change stations
I really hope this show gets picked up. Not since Cheers, Seinfeld, & Will & Grace have I found it imperative to be home to watch this hilarious show. After watching live, I watch each of the episodes via TiVo. My only regret is that the show is only a half hour long.
Get over Sullivan and sons and Ground Floor. Every person who wants to criticise Clipped seems to be angry over these two shows getting cancelled. Give it a chance – it’s not bad at all – and try to live with the fact that these 2 shows are not coming back.
This show sux. Bring back Sullivan and sons and ground floor. Good job tbs
Big gay wedding, no thank you.
I hope they keep this show on the air. Yes, the accents aren’t perfect and perhaps they shouldn’t have tried, but the characters are interesting and diverse for a sitcom. And unlike, lots of other “more popular” shows, it does have some good laughs.
