This is some pretty pretty pretty good news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Larry David is considering a return to his HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm.
The sitcom, which follows a semi-fictionalized version of David, was put on an indefinite hiatus after its eighth season ended in 2011.
Earlier this week, Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star JB Smoove said David told him he was “thinking about coming back”:
So I called Larry, like, two weeks ago and I said, ‘Hey, Larry man.’ I just talk about regular stuff with him. It’s not always Curb stuff. But this time — aha. This time, he brings up Curb Your Enthusiasm. I don’t ever bring it up. He brought it up this time.”
Apparently, David asked Smoove if the actor was available in case Curb really does return for a ninth season:
If Larry does not say no, there’s a possibility he’s going to say yes. And then he went the extra, ‘If I do come back, are you going to be available?’ And I said, ‘You know something Larry, I’m going to be available.'”
What do you think? Are you a fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm? Do you want another season?
