It’s the end of the line for the Dallas TV show — for the second time. TNT has announced that they’ve cancelled the new Dallas TV show after three seasons.
A continuation of the successful CBS series from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Dallas follows the machinations of two generations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
Year-to-year, season three of Dallas was down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that certainly wasn’t a good sign for its chances of a fourth season.
In a statement, TNT said, “We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga. We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Cidre and the writers have been working on scripts and ideas for a fourth season of Dallas so hopefully she’ll share what would have happened at some point.

I was a fan of the original Dallas and miss j.r. but the new Dallas was great. Now I find out its been cancelled. Very disappointed! Please let it continue!

Aww they cancelled the new season of Dallas my family loved this show I’m so sad to see it not picked up for another season. Can we get a least a what happened to who & what, we’re left up in the air with questions.
I and all my family are so sad that Dallas has been cancelled. Please continue it for another season or more! It was so fun to see the creativeness in the activities of the wonderful scoundrels in the story.Of course we would watch it on another channel if only it would come back.
How about continuing the series on Netflix? I would love to see a 4th season, & a 5th, 6th, etc.

I personally never missed an episode and neither did the ladies I knew who watched every episode while we were raising kids.
If another station picks it up. I will definitely switch stations to watch it!!!

I would pay to see Dallas. I have watched every Dallas show that ever played on TV old and new Dallas . There never will be another show that I will love more than Dallas.
