Get ready for another season of Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet. Nat Geo Wild announced the return of the series late last week, and fans will not have long to wait.
Check out the press release for the return of the series below:
“Dr. Michelle Oakley returns with an all new season of Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet, premiering Saturday, Oct. 1 at 9/8c on Nat Geo WILD. Follow her as she makes house calls across thousands of square miles in the Yukon Territory in northern Canada – where she’s responding to some of the most unique and challenging cases of her career. From moving bears with tractors and horses with helicopters, to castrating angry boars and capturing wild bison, she’ll have to use every trick she has to save these animals. Accompanied by her daughters and armed with a sense of humor as sharp as a scalpel, Dr. Oakley deftly juggles being a full-time veterinarian, wife and mom while taking us into the isolated regions of the Yukon.”

Love her and show!!!!!!!!
My wife & I really enjoy your show . We both grew up with animals , some wild . We later owned a dairy . So we can relate to your show .
On you 2016 show you needed to cut tendons in a large horse’s back legs so he could walk without dragging his hooves or stumbling . You bent one needle & broke another . A cowboy had a hard time getting horse down on his side so you could give him an injection. Why couldn’t you have darted him instead . I would appreciate an answer .
Lynda Mearns thank you Dr. Oakley. When I was growing up. (I was born in 1943), TV was just starting in the early 1950’s. Women weren’t portrayed as strong, intelligent people. If I had ever seen a roll model like you I would have followed a different course in life. Thank you for showing girls now a days that they have so many choices, I love your show
Dr. Michelle Oakley is an amazing vet. She and her husband, Shane, have a great relationship with three fabulous daughters. I enjoy the show immensely and always learn so much from each episode. Thank you for your passion, Dr. O.
