Time has run out for CBS’ science-based drama. Based on a British series of the same name, the network has cancelled Eleventh Hour after 18 episodes.
Eleventh Hour revolves around a team of scientists and FBI agents who work to solve strange crimes that involve science and possible paranormal activity. The drama stars Rufus Sewell, Marley Shelton, and Omar B. Miller.
Debuting on October 9, 2008, the show started out with an audience of 11.37 million viewers and a 3.2/9 rating/share of the 18-49 demographic. The season ended up averaging about 12 million. While that looks fine on its own, the series consistently lost a large percentage of its CSI lead-in.
The show’s been “on the bubble” for awhile and now, the network has decided to cancel it. All of the show’s episodes have aired and there’s been no word on a DVD release.

One of the best show, I’ve seen. I hope they’re will be a second season.
i cant believe theres no more eleventh hour.i never missed a single show and was eagerly awaiting season 2.what a let down for cbs to release a show that everyone can really get into and enjoy and then just cancel it with no real explanation and after such a great finale. what a waste.
Don’t cancel this show, it is great.
This show was amazing. CBS is absolutely insane for ending it.
Personally I thiought Eleventh Hour was a great show. Did anyone at CBS stop and think, hey, 13 million viewers, not too shabby when its competing against ER’s final season. Wake up CBS. Reconsider and bring back Eleventh Hour.
Are you stupid, this show is great!!
I was just looking up the 2009 season premieres and all my favorites were back except Eleventh hour. I think [what did they say] oh 12 MILLION fans should be enough to keep a show like this on. It is entertaining and pretty clean for my teens to watch with me. Sorry to see it go. Hay if the replacement show doesn’t get 12 million viewers, maybe you could bring it back.
Eleventh Hour was GREAT! My husband and I areally enjoyed watching the show and enjoyed all the characters. CBS please reconsider the cancellation. Just Bring it back.
CBS you suck!
Eleveth Hour was a great show you are stupid for ending it.
I cannot believe this show got canceled. This was one of the best shows on the major networks. What are “they” thinking???? Yet, other shows that aren’t very good are still on? I am soooo upset over this. Everytime something really good comes on, it gets canceled. It’s amazing “The Mentalist” is back for another season! Who are you catering to with these other pooly acted shows? I guess CSB thinks we are a bunch people with low IQ’s. What about us baby boomers? We want to see some real acting. You made a BIG mistake taking Eleventh Hour off..… Read more »
CBS sucks!
Once again, the viewers got screwed! I think CBS needs to really start looking for new executives!
Eleventh Hour was the only reason to keep watching CBS on Thursday nights. It is a shame that narrow minded managers can be so short-sited. My teens and thier frinds are the reasons why my wife and I started watching the show. To think that you would cancelle this show and than bring over a show like “Medium” Bah.. Let us hope you have not screw up again this time, CBS just might not recover this one.
Remember this ” Where Bad ratings go so will your jobs.
Eleventh Hour was a great show! MAJOR BUMMER that it’s been cancelled!
Eleventh Hour was a TERRIFIC SHOW. Very sorry it’s being cancelled. The last few episodes added delightful subtle humor with the addition of Omar Benson Miller as Felix Lee. CBS PLEASE RECONSIDER.
