There won’t be a third season of cable’s Good Behavior TV show. The con artist drama series has been cancelled after two seasons.
Airing on the TNT cable channel, Good Behavior stars Michelle Dockery as thief and confidence artist Letty Raines. The cast also includes Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney, Lusia Strus, Joey Kern, Nyles Julian Steele. Although Letty always gets what she wants, in regaining custody of her son, Jacob (Steele), she nearly lost her love — the assassin, Javier (Botto).
The series debuted in November 2016 and aired regularly on Tuesday nights. In the ratings, the first season’s 10 episodes averaged a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 742,000 viewers. Despite the fact that the Good Behavior TV show had some of the lowest ratings of any original scripted drama on TNT, this seductive thriller was renewed for a second season.
The cable channel opted to air the second season on Sunday nights and the ratings didn’t improve. Season two averaged a 0.16 demo rating with 595,000 viewers. That was down by 15% and 20% when compared to season one.
The second season finished airing in December 2017 and TNT has confirmed that will be the end of the series.
What do you think? Do you like the Good Behavior TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or, renewed for a third season?
I’m sorry, but not surprised, that it’s been canceled. The acting was superb. It is an intelligent drama that dealt with adult issues. I loved the sarcasm. The only shows that seem to survive are silly, obviously scripted “reality” programs.
Good Behavior is one of my favorites! So unlike everything else on tv. Great characters, great performances. Not the typical same ole same ole drama on tv where the plot and stereotypes are the same, you just change the actors.
Canceled NO!….my family Live this show. The chemistry between the characters Excellent! Revive it!!! We’ve been waiting on return☹
I’m sooooo sad this was one of my fav shows. I’ve been waiting to see if there was going to be a season 3. How disappointing
Ah nuts. A great think out of the box show that keeps you glued to the set. Now it’s gone. Help, someone else pick it up! The actors are very good and the story line ever evolving. I was so looking forward to this show…..
I love this show so different from anything else on air it was a mistake cancelling this show my family and I were literally on the edge of our
seats every episode. Fml TNT
So disappointed! Loved this show
I have been waiting and waiting for this to return! Darn it! Yet there are SOOO many sci-fi shows. What gives?! Bring this one back!
Very disappointed. Truly enjoyed this show.
So sorry to see this. I loved the way the characters were developing. Too bad.
Good Behavior should of been renewed no doubt about it. It seems when a great series is going great it’s taken off. Was the real reason it was taken off could have been because of the two different races together???
Think about that network people.
I am so disappointed about this cancellation. I’ve been waiting anxiously for season 3. I thought it was one of the best dramas on t.v. Great acting, gripping story lines, and I am so surprised that this show must go when there are many others that really should have quit airing long ago. I would gladly sign a petition to get this show back on the air. Thanks, Dee, for the suggestion.
Good Behavior is an excellently written and produced series. Anyone I recommended to watch it became instant fans. That leaves TNT as having done a very poor job of promoting it. After all, Michelle Dockery was HUGELY popular on Downton Abbey. She was the reason I gave the show a chance and was hooked immediately on its own merits. Shame on you, TNT!
I waited all year for this too! This is one of the better drama series with a great storyline and dialogue! Come on TNT, let’s see Season 3!
Very disappointed. Don’t know why the ratings were so low. Maybe it needed more promotion. I never saw it advertised.
Started off strong but then ran off the rails. Loved that line “so I guess you’re not an English teacher. Season 2 lost itself-why would she leave her son back with her mother after spending so much time to get him back. The writers seemed to want to return to the story of a con artist and hit man in LA but it was too late. Like a lot of shows starts off strong and then the writers don’t seem to know where to go with it
