NBC cancelled the Merlin back in 2009 due to low ratings but the show’s been doing well for Syfy. Season four is currently running on the cable channel and Syfy has the option to pick up season five. If you’ve fallen a bit behind on your Merlin episodes, here’s a chance to catch up.
In season three of Merlin, there’s lots more magic, adventure and romance. The young legendary wizard (Colin Morgan) continues to hone his skills and secretly protect his friend Prince Arthur (Bradley James) from harm. That’s not easy considering that King Uther (Anthony Head) has redoubled his war against magic — including threats from duplicitous Morgana (Katie McGrath).
Season three of Merlin has been released on DVD and contains all 13 episodes on five discs, as well as audio commentary, a “making of” featurette, deleted scenes, outtakes, a photo gallery and more. PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!. I haven’t enjoyed a show so much for a very long time. I look so forward to it every week. The characters are fabulous, there is a wonderful sense of humour about it and it is so very well written…. not to mention the whole concept is just in the infant stages of development. King Arther is just barely King now. I think this show should do very well if put on maybe a better time slot. Saturday night is not the best for a show like this. Although, I would watch it at 3:00… Read more »
