It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Missing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I absolutely LOVE this show! Best new show in a VERY long time! Please tell us it will be renewed for MANY seasons to come!
There are only 3 good “new” shows on TV this year:
1) MISSING
2) REVENGE
3) PERSON OF INTEREST
LOVE THIS SHOW! Hope it’ll be given a chance and NOT cancelled. Still NOT a fan of the Nielsen System.
I like it a lot. It reminds me of Jason Bourne. The way the first episode hunted her, the set up for the staff, the hurry-hurry attitude, maybe even the Treadstone name (her’s is Winstone). But I loved Jason Bourne and I like Becca Winstone.
Thank you, Ms Judd, for producing this series. Opinion: A balance of ‘maternal’ instinct and ‘do what is necessary’ mentality. My family and I are long-time fans…we expect the best from you and you delivered. Again, thank you. Fingers crossed for renewal.
I love this show that remind me of 24-type thing.. Ashley Judd is very good excellent woman know her doing right, but no mistakes at all. A.J had pretty good role as mother/former CIA agent(more like CTU agent Jack Bauer) kept on ticking to look for her missing son all over globe (not like next 24 hours means 24 episodes…LOL) YOU R REAL ROCK,Ashley.
Missing is excellent. I like the story line and Ashley Judd is an all time favorite. I like the action. Some of the fight scenes have been a little difficult only because they are shot in a darkness. Hard to see the action. Keep up the good work.
I tried to watch the first show, couldn’t take it after thirty minutes. I tried to watch the second show, even worse and left after the first break. I will be missing from future airings.
Exciting! Keep it! Our 19 and 24-year-olds like it too!
I thought the show was great! I loved the whole concept. While the fight scenes may not necessarily have been believable, I still think they were great and very entertaining!! I like the fact that Ashley has put herself out there, and said “Let’s kick some ass!” It’s definitely not a normal role for her, but she carries it out well, and I loved it!! It’s almost like Fox’s “24”, except with a female!! Rock on Ashley!! Can’t wait for next week!!!
Great show. Can’t wait for next episode. Good characters, great story line.
I enjoyed the first episode but I agree the fight scenes are a believable. I will stick with out and see how out goes. Loved Ashley Judd.
I adore Ashley Judd, her acting is superb! However, the fight scenes were simply awful! The sound effects were ridiculous and unbelievable, and it was easy to see that the actors were acting (as in – pretending to hit or kick, but stopping before actually doing it), and the hand-to-hand was slow! I realize that it’s tv not movies, but I can think back and compare it to “Alias” and see that the choreography of the fights are not even close to the level of “Alias” and others! I think the story-line has potential, but they’ve got to make the… Read more »
Missing had the same demo as 30 Rock, and was .2 lower than Community. Yet it had more than twice the total viewers than both the NBC shows. I wonder what attracted all the older viewers to Missing.
Enjoyed the show. They should have layed on the premise earlier on during the hour. However, Ashley Judd is really good and still very nice to look at. Nioce scenes of Rome and Paris. Not sure how long they can have her look for her son. Maybe at the end of the first season she could find her son. After that, she can frelance locating teens abducted on Europe.
Not as good as “Person of Interest” but has potential.
I think it should be renewed for a 2nd season!
