It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Once upon a time and Missing are our family’s favorites
PLEASE bring this show back! It was so action packed every week that it seemed to last longer than an hour. It always kept me on the edge of my seat. One of my favorite shows in a LONG time, and I’m so disappointed it’s not coming back. This was so much better than half the crap on tv these days!
I am so sick about not only Missing but just about every new show on major networks. I will never again get invested in a new shoe on CBS, ABC, or NBC again, I am done Heroes, Missing , V, GCB, and serveral more TV shows all cancelled after the networks build these shows as number one hits and than capture your interest they cancel them. Well they’ve cancelled one to many now and if Honey BOOBOO is what they want you to watch and such other trashy shows than that’s what I will tune into. ABC, NBC, CBS your… Read more »
I agree; Missing was the best show on TV last season and I couldn’t wait to find out
what happens to Ashley Judd this season…what do you mean it isn’t coming back!!

Stephie

OMG! I was looking at the fall line up and realized that I did not see my favorite show Missing. When I investigated why, I saw this article. NOOOOOOOO!!! I LOVED THIS SHOW! This was the best TV series that I had seen in years. What a huge mistake! ABC should cancel some of their stupid reality shows, like Bachelor (how many times does one need to see people date, pick the perfect one and then separate after the show ends. The only thing these players get is short lived fame and a huge ring?) The only reality here is… Read more »
Bring missing back it is the best show that you have put out in a long time
I really love the show missing and was look forward to the season 2. I was so mad when I heared ABC cancelled it. I’d really like it if ABC would change their minds and renew missing for a second seasons.
This series had intrigue and was filled with suspense. I realize that most people watch reality TV. But, what’s so real when its fake. This series had a finesse that other shows have not provided in a very long time. It was adventure for those of us who have had enough of the killing and mayhem that TV has provided lately. Think about what your viewers are saying and ask yourself, “What’s more valuable?” Ratings or better TV?
Bring it back it’s a good show.
This is riculous, this is the best show since 24! I’m sick of all the cop shows, doctor shows, and reality tv shows, I don’t get how everytime something original comes out, it has to be cancelled. I really thought this show would be on for a while, I guess I shouldn’t get my hopes up when all tv ever does is disapoint……
This was my favorite show. Loved loved loved it Please bring it back!
This is one of only three shows that I felt was worth watching. Yes, the options on TV are that bad. Missing offered great cinematography, fabulous locations, convincing acting, a decent story line and enough action if that is your thing. Cancelling Missing is a HUGE mistake. Seriously?
