Season 15 Ratings

On April 13, 2018, NCIS was renewed for a 16th season which will debut on September 25, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with lower numbers than last season, it is unlikely that the show will slide from the Tiffany Network’s most-watched scripted series to some level that warrants cancellation. What’s more likely is that (eventually) the creative team will decide it is time to end the series, or parties will be unable to come to terms on money. While ratings may not directly influence the writers and/or actors decision to leave, the casts and crews of most successful series prefer to go out on top. For that reason, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free updates on any NCIS cancellation or renewal news.

What do you think? Are glad that CBS renewed its NCIS TV series for a 16th season? How long do you think this TV show should run?
I have enjoyed the show since day one. However, with the lost of recent cast members , specifically Lauren Holley, I have all but lost interest in the newly added cast members. Lately I rarely view the shows after 2007. However, the show should definitely not be cancelled. Reruns should continue and be enjoyed for decades.
I agree with you a hundred percent.
Best show ever on tv.Should renew 16 17 18 19 and 20 right now
agreed
I also agree. As long as the show maintains its core case continuity and theme, then I say let it run until cast and/or production staff feel they’ve run out of creativity.
I have watched every single episode would never miss a single one.i do miss Tony but for cbs to remotely even think about canceling it would infuriate me as all of these people are like a family to me I look forward to seeing because no matter the task it’s team work and family .dont get rid of ncis.
I definitely want it renewed!!!
I love Ncis. I want it renewed for season 16
Have liked all of the episodes of NCIS until the narrating started. It is perfectly obvious what is happening and don’t need to hear narration. The narrating is very annoying.
I own all episodes of the shows on DVD all ncis franchise shows they are all great good storylines
I love them all (ncis)
I would love be to see a season 16, it has taken some getting use to the new people. I’m glad Quinn is gone she didn’t really fit. I would like to see more of Torres. I’m still not a big fan of “Ellie” but she had big shoes to fill after Ziva. I still think at some point Tony will make a guest appearance and we will find out for sure that Zivs is alive and undergoing major reconstructive surgery after the fire. There are so many story lines that can continue. I hope the series continues for a… Read more »
I agree that Alexandra Quinn, played by Ms. Jennifer Esposito, really did not seem to add a significant character to Gibbs’ NCIS team. As for Season #15, I feel that the jury is still out on Dr. Jacqueline “Jack” Sloane (played by the veteran actress Maria Bello).
I totally agree about Quinn’s departure from the show . She brought nothing to the table. It was refreshing to see your take on Ziva and Tony. I do think he will reappear in the future . I still can’t get used to Bishop.
I still can’t see the reason for adding Dr. Sloan to the cast. She certainly doesn’t add anything to the cast.
I love it, I hope it continues. But it will be hard without Abby
I hope it keeps going. It’s my favorite show. I look forward to Tuesdays!
Best show ever. Even changing characters, it still keeps going. Better than movies ever made. It should stay on forever. Alays learn to love new cast because everyone is a family on this show. Plus, you have to love all the humor. We can’t wait to see the next episode every night. We watch it on Netflix instead of movies. Nothing else can compare to this show at all. Please keep it coming!!!
Wonderful show
Just love,love NCIS!!
hope it will be renewed for many
more seasons:)
I am saddened at the prospect of saying goodbye to our beloved character “Abs”. BUT we can move on and stay strong. With the possibility of NCIS LA not coming back, why not transfer the remaining LA cast over to Gibbs. THAT would be interesting. What do you all think? And what about “Tony” if Bull doesn’t doesn’t renew?
My favorite show if cancelled CBS can say good by to me. Will have no reason to watchCBS
